Current Business Model

In 2008, journalist and activist Rosa Clemente became the first Afro-Latina U.S. Vice Presidential candidate. She was on the Green Party ticket with Cynthia McKinney. Moreover, actors, actresses and people in the entertainment business, such as Gina Torres, Lauren Velez, Rosario Dawson, Tatyana Ali, Matt Cedeño, Laz Alonso, Jeremy Suarez, Soledad O’Brien and others have publicly declared their Afro-Latino heritage.

Due to the increasing trend and growing awareness of Afro-Latino presence in the US, The Ernesto Gamboa Project LLC provides the medium through a cross-platform to promote Afro-Latino’s cultural heritage and provide a motivating podium for the professional dialogue on Afro-Latino issues to Hispanic and Latino businesses.
